After a challenging few years, I’m back and so thrilled to be offering workshops and retreats once again.
in late 2022 I was surprised to be dealing with an unexpected rare cancer, major emergency surgery and a very challenging physical and mental journey of repair- of which I am pleased to say seems to have me now in good health and spirits!
There is nothing like that kind of situation to make you reassess, which lead our little family to literally RE-BUILD!
Our new Workshop space is now situated in our previous "Shouse". Some of you may be familiar with the space- as my love of all things foraged and found did find some lovely admirers, with the space being featured in a number of publications, including Country Style Magazine and the fabulous book The Foraged Home.
With this is mind, I have decided to retain much of the interior whilst adding some lovely big timber tables for workbenches, a gorgeous kitchenette for those vital beverage breaks and a divine little shop filled with Vintage French treasures from Aurelie of My French Finds, stunning ceramic pieces from Tracy of Shut Up and Relax ceramics, a range of beautiful Cotton Nighties, Atelier34 Leathergoods, French market baskets .. and more! Perhaps some retail therapy to get those create feels flowing!
Set amongst the magic of trees and birdsong, I believe it to be a wonderful environment in which to relax and connect: and nurture your creative heart. .

The wonderful Dezley Hughes is returning to us, after her previously sold out Floral Workshop, to guide you through the process of creating a stunning complete Wreath to set the mood and enhance your Festive celebrations.
The complete Wreath includes a solid, re-useable base and will be filled to the brim with foliage, dried elements and touches of magic. Dezley will provide all the elements and tricks to ensure you leave with a wreath you will be proud to hang, enhancing your home or entertaining space.

This Invitation depicts the immensely relaxed nature of friends Annie + Bryney, creators of beautifully earthy and functional tableware: Hardened Earth Ceramics.
As we move towards the end of year Festivities and spending special time with Family + Friends, we are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to create this stunning serving set, perfect for those Summery celebrations or gatherings.
In this special workshop, they will introduce you to the simple, tactile pleasure of hand-forming stoneware clay as you create your own generous, low-sided serving bowl and a pair of matching spoons.
With nurturing guidance along the way, you’ll learn a few simple hand-building techniques to shape, texture and finish your pieces. Working with a white raku midfire clay, your finished bowl and spoon set will be glazed with your choice of a white, buff cream or natural glaze finish.. and be ready to grace your table in time for the Festive Season!
No previous experience is necessary. Whether you are a beginner, or you bring your own talents and flair from previous experience, this is an opportunity to slow down, work with your hands and enjoy the very satisfying process of creating something beautifully functional from a humble piece of clay.

Ellie Beck is back to share her immense knowledge and generous heart as she guides you through the process of Natural Dye and Hand Stitching. A gift of slowing down and creating from natures found treasures and gentle creating In this beautiful full-day workshop.
You will delve into a abundance of flowers, leaves, and botanicals to naturally dye your own beautiful fabric. You will then hand sew a fabric roll-up pouch to store your treasures (think sewing kit, jewels, journal..the uses are endless and wonderful.
We’ll work with dye pots and solar dyeing to create colour on cloth and silk ribbon.
You’ll learn slow stitching techniques that are practical, beautiful, and how to use this process as mindful moments in your day.
This is a full day immersive workshop of pure delightful joy. You’ll play with petals, fabric, Sashiko threads, while sipping tea, nibbling on cake, and conversing with new creative friends.
You’ll take home a unique finished slow-stitched fabric pouch, as well as your own naturally dyed material to make more pouches at home, or any number of slow stitched creations,.
A gift of process to help take you away from the outside noise, and relish small moments of inner peace.
